JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, four people were injured when a SUV veered off into oncoming traffic Wednesday.

The accident happened around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Banbury and Rogero.

A silver SUV was heading south on Rogero when the driver failed to realize that another vehicle had came to a stop.

The driver of the SUV ended up swerving into oncoming traffic and colliding with a minivan.

JSO said the three occupants of the minivan and one person from the SUV was taken to UF Health with non-life threatening injuries.
