JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- One of the local high school football teams that won't be advancing to the third round of the prep football playoffs is Raines.
The Vikings lost in double overtime Friday night to the Bolles Bulldogs.
It was a game that left many Raines fans on the northside of Jacksonville upset and complaining about the officiating.
In fact, the First Coast Sports department received lots of emails, tweets and phone calls asking that something be done.
We were also told that the school planned to submit a complaint to the FHSAA.
First Coast Sports Analyst Justin Barney was at Friday's game and says while there were some questionable calls, Raines still had a chance to win.
Barney also says he called the FHSAA offices Tuesday and was told that there was no appeal filed by anyone from Raines.
