ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- In St. Augustine you'll now have more places to park your bicycle.

The city of St. Augustine has just started putting up more bike racks in the downtown area. Twenty-five racks in five locations are going up because the city has noticed the increased interest in riding bikes and the need for bike parking.

While the racks have been planned for a while, the Mumford and Sons concert underscored the need for bike racks when a cycling group called Velo Fest set up a bike valet and it was a big hit.

"It was a huge success with thousands of bikes being secured that way. And VeloFest also made a lot of other locations available for bikes. And we think people really jumped at the opportunity to bike when they think they can leave their bike in a secure place," said Paul Williamson.

The racks will be put up in five locations around downtown St. Augustine.
