NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. - At least four different homeowners called police in New Smyrna Beach after finding Ku Klux Klan propaganda in the front yards of their homes.
A homeowner on Myrtle Street reported the fliers Monday morning, but police got several other calls throughout the day.
Fliers were dropped off in plastic bags weighted down by fishing sinkers, depicting the image of a hooded Klansman with recruitment words and phrases on them.
There was a phone number on the fliers asking residents to call on Tuesday. However, police said when they called the North Carolina number, it was out of service.
