JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville City Council is expected to vote Tuesday on proposed improvements to EverBank Field.
The improvements include new scoreboards on the south end zone and swimming pools on the north end zone.
It's expected the entire project will cost $63 million.
Jaguars owner Shad Khan has said he will chip in $20 million, leaving the city to cover the rest.
City leaders propose borrowing $43 million with the intention of using part of a hotel tax to pay off the debt.
A 1 p.m. meeting is planned Tuesday to discuss more details and answer more questions.
The council's regularly scheduled meeting isn't until the evening.
