ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Some students in St. Augustine were not whittling theirthumbs during Monday's school holiday.

Dozens of students painted big murals at the St. AugustineAmphitheatre Monday morning.

Six schools participated in the 2nd annual PaintOut - put on by the Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

Julington Creek Elementary, Hickory Creek, Webster,Crookshank, Wards Creek and Palencia all had teachers and students paintingholiday scenes about St. Augustine.

The murals will be on display at the St. AugustineAmphitheater for the December to Remember event.
