DELTONA, Fla. - An employee of a Family Dollar store in Deltona was robbed of a bank bag as they walked out of the store Tuesday morning, police said.

The worker was not hurt, but shaken up when a man jumped out of some nearby bushes.

According to a news release, the culprit pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the bag. He then ran on foot toward the back of the store.

The robber is described as a black man standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a blue sweatshirt, jeans and a gray and red baseball cap.

A search of the area did not locate the culprit.
