DELTONA, Fla. -The Volusia County Sheriff's department has scaled back its extensive search for Yessenia Suarez and her two children, who authorities said are dead.

However, Suarez' family said it will continue a search of their own and that her stepfather hopes to talk with Suarez' husband, Luis Toledo, in jail.

Toledo has allegedly admitted to killing his wife following a fight over divorce, but implicated someone else in the death of the children, Thalia Otto, 9, and Michael Otto, 8.

Toledo has refused to say where the bodies are located and the sheriff's department, along with the family, have searched for miles near the victims' home. Toledo is charged with second-degree murder in connection to her death.

The family is desperate to find the bodies and give them closure and hopes that talking to Toledo will help uncover new information.
