JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a Chick-Fil-A parking lot Monday morning.



JSO officers arrived at 7147 Phillips Highway at 9:25 a.m. and found a vehicle struck by a bullet in the driver's side rear-window.



According to a JSO Facebook post, a bullet casing was found in the parking lot near the area where the shooting was reported.



Investigators say the victim was waiting in line of the drive-thru and an older brown Buick Regal was not moving in line. The victim drove around the suspect's vehicle to order food.



That's when police say thesuspect allegedly drove up to the victim's car and the suspect got out of the passenger side. The Facebook post says the suspect cursed andbrandished a black gun.



The suspect thenallegedly fired the gun at the victim's vehicle and ran east. The driver of vehicle, a woman, drove after the suspect.



The suspect is described as a younger man with a short haircut and approximately 5'10", 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple jacket and faded blue jeans.
