LAX shooting suspect Paul Ciancia studied motorcycle maintenance at a school near Orlando, according to an official statement from the Universal Technical Institute.
Ciancia, 23, graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in December 2011.
He attended the school at 9751 Delegates Drive in south Orange County for two years.
"The staff members at Universal Technical Institute, Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, Marine Mechanics Institute and NASCAR Technical Institute wish to express their deepest condolences for the victims of the shooting at LAX on Friday, November 1, 2013," the company wrote in a statement.
In December of 2009, Paul Ciancia started the motorcycle technology program at the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute.
Ciancia, the suspect in Friday's shooting at Los Angeles International Airport, could face the death penalty if he's convicted of murdering a federal officer. TSA officer Gerardo Hernandez was fatally shot; four other people were wounded.
