JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It's a story we first brought you last Thursday: A Mandarin dry cleaning business closed its doors, leaving some customers' clothing still inside.

Less than a week after our story aired, viewers are seeing results thanks to a different dry cleaner.

On San Jose Boulevard at Loretto Cleaners, the bright neon sign reads "open."

And inside, dry cleaning like you expect. But Wednesday morning, clothing came from the cleaners across the street that unexpectedly closed its doors, leaving customers clothes inside.

Michael Mason is one of them. He works security for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and brought four of six uniform shirts to the cleaners. That was a month ago.

"Well, what am I going to do now? Luckily, I have a couple extra shirts or else, I don't know what I would have done," said Mason.

The day after FCN's story aired, Ben Azzouz, the owner of Loretto Cleaners said the owner of the other cleaners texted him, asking to help customers get their clothes back. Azouz said yes. He didn't want to speak on camera, but Azzouz said 250 to 300 pieces of clothing were brought over Wednesday morning, affecting as many as 100 customers.

Azzouz told FCN he has a verbal agreement with the other cleaners' owner and he's been doing the other business' dry cleaning since this past spring. He said it's called warehousing. It is something he said is not abnormal. Customers are just happy to have their clothes back.

"I don't know a lot of details. I'm just glad to have my stuff back," Mason said

Azzouz said the other cleaners' owners didn't explain why they had to close. But Azzouz said he spoke to the owner Wednesday morning who told him to give customers half-off because of the situation.

"It's good. It's a relief," Mason said.

FCN has tried several times to reach out to the owner of the closed cleaning business since Thursday to get answers for you. We even visited their home. Our calls, voice mails and text messages have not yet been returned. When they are, we will let you know.
