JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The driver of a truck couldn't avoid a tree that fell as he drove on Roosevelt Blvd. Tuesday night.

The driver crashed into the tree, causing traffic issues for the area.

The crash shut down both lanes of the road for hours as crews worked to clear the tree.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two men were inside the silver pick-up truck at the time of the crash. One man was unharmed and the other was treated for injuries.

As of 11:45 p.m., the northbound lanes of Roosevelt between Edgewood and McDuff were still closed.
