JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- This week's athlete of the week is Dexter Carter Jr. He is a junior football star at The Bolles School.
This past Friday, Carter scored 5 touchdowns (3 receiving, 1 rushing, 1 interception return) in the Bulldogs' 50-14 win over North Marion.
Dexter Carter Jr. is the son of the former Florida State and San Francisco 49ers running back with the same name. The younger Carter has been a key member of the Bolles football team since he was a freshman. His role has increased over the years, and he continues to get better with age. Now, several colleges are taking notice of this speedster.
