ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A mobile home sustained heavy damage after a large fire burned for 20 minutes inside the dwelling Tuesday evening.

No one was injured in the fire, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue's Facebook page.

SJCFR responded around 6:45 p.m. to the residence at the 200 block of Yarbrough Road.

Upon arrival, crews found a single-wide mobile home with heavy smoke visible from the doors and windows.

Crews doused the home with water while making sure no one was inside.

According to SJCFR, the fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes with the majority of the fire damage contained to one end of the home.

There were several pets inside the home, but they were able to exit the home without injury, according to SJCFR.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the SJC Fire Marshals Office.
