NAPLES, Fla. (AP) -- A Naples man remains behind bars after authorities say he rode his bicycle while intoxicated and refused to pull over.
Collier County jail records show 46-year-old Mark Anthony Weeks was arrested Thursday night on several charges including DUI, resisting arrest without violence, refusing a breath test and eluding deputies. He's being held on $24,000 bond and his next court date is scheduled for Sept. 23.
It's not immediately known if he has an attorney.
The Naples Daily News reports that Weeks told deputies he has a hearing problem and didn't notice their sirens as he pedaled home.
Jail records show this is his fifth DUI charge.
