ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A 20-year old St. Johns County man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection with a Monday morning home invasion robbery.

Benjamin Leon White and a second unknown suspect, allegedly went to a home on the 600 block of Francis Street early in the morning, knocked on the victim's door and brandished a handgun demanding money when they answered, according to a release from the St. John's County Sheriff's Office.

White is allegedly an acquaintance of the 24-year-old male and 20-year-old female victim's, the release detailed.

Both suspects entered the home and the unknown suspect allegedly punched the male victim in the face and asked where money was kept. The two suspects ransacked the residence and bound the two victims, before fleeing with cash and numerous cellular telephones, according to the release.

U.S. Marshal's Task Force located White Wednesday afternoon at an apartment in the 200 block of Whispering Circle.
