STARKE, Fla. -- Police executed a search warrant for drugs on Wednesday around 4:40 a.m. at the LAK Apartments, according to a Starke Police Department press release.

The Starke Police Department's Street Crimes Unit entered one of the units and made contact with the resident, Denario Marquontis Lewis, 19, and an unknown adult woman.

Lewis had an arrest warrant for possession of cocaine, sale of cocaine and maintaining a public nuisance where drugs are being sold. His bond for the arrest warrant was set at $150-thousand.

Upon securing the suspects, officers continued to execute the search warrant, which resulted in the recovery of 7.9 grams of crack cocaine, 33.2 grams of powder cocaine, 3.8 grams of marijuana and prescription medication not prescribed to Lewis.

Additional charges were filed against Lewis as a result of the search warrant. He is now also facing another count of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, and two counts of possession of prescription medication without a prescription.

The woman was interviewed and released without incident or charges.
