GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- Glynn County Police discovered what it believes to be the deceased body of Amber Whited in a wooded area on Sunday.
Whited, a Glynn County resident and mother of two, was reported missing July 16.
The body was located around 1:40 p.m., according to Glynn County Police's Facebook page.
The body was located around 50 feet off of Highway 99 in a heavily wooded area near Brunswick, according to GCPD.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab will conduct the autopsy and attempt to positively identify the body.
