ATLANTA, Ga. -- The younger son of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King has gotten married.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Dexter Scott King married longtime fiancee Leah Weber in a private ceremony Friday in California. The bride, originally from New Orleans, is a former broadcast journalist and business owner.
King is chairman of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta.
The King Center said in a statement that the couple plan to live in Malibu, Calif., where King has lived for several years.
The Atlanta newspaper reports that neither the bride nor groom could be reached for additional comment.
