SANFORD, Fla. -- Friends of Trayvon Martin's mother Sybrina Fulton say she is tired, and ready for the verdict.

Linda Dayson of Hurting Children and Families in Crime out of Jacksonville said she's spoken with Fulton many times during the trial.

Dayson brought her nonprofit group to the courthouse Saturday to support Trayvon's family, and encourage people to remain peaceful.

She spoke with Fulton over the jury's lunch break.

"She's basically tired. She's tired and she's a mother that's hurting just like any other mother that may lose a child," said Dayson.

She plans to remain outside the courthouse until a verdict is read.
