JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Three men wearing masks used a sledge hammer to break into a gas station and steal cigarettes on June 7.

Police responded to the BP gas station located at 7612 103rd street on June 7 for a burglary that occurred around 4:30 a.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The three suspects entered the business and shattered the interior door with the sledge hammer making entry into the employee area.

Once inside, they took numerous cartons of Newport cigarettes and placed them in trash bags, according to JSO.

After several minutes, they exited the business last seen running east behind the business.
