MABLETON, Ga. -- Cobb County Police are trying to find a teenage boy accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old fellow middle school student.

According to an arrest warrant, Travion Malick Hubbard is accused of aggravated sodomy and aggravated child molestation.

It doesn't give his exact age, except to say he's under 18, but he was said to have been a student at Lindley Middle School in Mableton when the alleged attack happened on May 1st.

The warrant claims Hubbard forced a 14-year-old girl into a boys' bathroom, partially undressed her and then performed sexual acts on her.

The school's principal contacted Cobb County campus police within hours of the incident and they contacted Cobb County Police the same night.

Police would not provide any reason why it took them until May 30 to swear out the arrest warrant .

Even though he's a juvenile, Hubbard is being charged as an adult.

Police have yet to locate him, and his family still lives at their home near Austell.

11Alive News spoke with several neighbors, some of whom described Hubbard as a trouble maker, but all said they were afraid to be interviewed.
