JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --Homicide investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff Office are looking for clues into a late night shooting on the city's Northside.

Around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night, neighbors in the 2900 block of Carleon Road reported hearing gunshots.

When officers arrived, they found a victim, an unidentifiedblack male in his 20s, with a gunshot wound.

Police said thevictim wason a bicycle when he was shot. The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where police said succumbed to his injuries.

Witnesses claimthey sawan unidentified black male running away from the scene shortly after the shooting.
