BRUNSWICK, Ga. - The Brunswick Police Department is reaching out to the community for answers relating to recent gunfire.

Officers with the Brunswick Police Department responded to reports of shots fired on the 2100 block of M Street Wednesday, according to a release from the Brunswick Police Department.

While at the scene police allegedly heard gunshots unrelated to the call they were responding to, according to the release.

A large crowd was allegedly spotted and police heard additional gunshots as they were trying to disperse the crowd.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shots fired, according to BPD.

An investigation is ongoing and the Brunswick Police Department seeks help from the community for information related to the incident.
