JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The following traffic and road closure information has been provided by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Stay with Good Morning Jacksonville starting Wednesday morning, where Katie Jeffries will have your accurate drive times.

DowntownJacksonville will be the hub of activity for One Spark during the dayand night Wednesday, April 17 - Sunday, April 21. In preparation forthese many events, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office would like to makethe public aware of the traffic patterns that will be in place.

Road Closures:

Wednesday, April 17 at 9 a.m. through Sunday, April 21 at 5 p.m.:

  • Laura Street from Duval Street to Independent Drive. (Bay Street and Forsyth Street will continue to flow)
  • Independent Drive from Hogan Street to Laura Street. (Closed on an as needed basis)
  • Hogan Street from Water Street to the cul-de-sac at the St. Johns River will be closed.
  • Adams Street from Hogan Street to Main Street.
  • Monroe Street from Hogan Street to Main Street.
  • Duval Street from Hogan Street to Laura Street.

Wednesday, April 17 through Friday, April 19 from 6 p.m. to midnight each night:

  • Bay Street will be CLOSED to eastbound/westbound traffic from Ocean to Liberty streets. Cars will still be able to travel northbound/southbound.

Recommended roads to use: Church Street, Hogan Street and Main Street

Main Street Bridge Closure on Saturday, April 20

The Main Street Bridge will be closed from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. to allvehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic on Saturday, April 20, forthe Florida Theatre's "Rock the Bridge Gala". If you are headed downtown on Saturday, April 20 please use analternate route. The Hart Bridge and Mathews Bridge are scheduled to beopen to accommodate traffic.

Mathews Bridge Schedule

  • Wednesday, April 17 - Both eastbound lanes of the Mathews Bridge are scheduled to be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 18.
  • Thursday, April 18 - The Mathews Bridge is scheduled to be completely closed in both directions from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday, April 19.
  • Friday, April 19 - The Mathews Bridge is scheduled to be completely closed in both directions from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 20.
  • Saturday, April 20 - The Mathews Bridge is scheduled to be open starting at 8 a.m. to accommodate traffic for several events downtown.
  • Sunday, April 21 - The Mathews Bridge is scheduled to be open.

Shuttle Service

Free shuttle service will run to and from Everbank Field/Lot E -one of the free parking locations during One Spark. Shuttles will runduring Creator Zone operating hours.

Skyway

A free parking area is located at the Prime Obsorn III ConventionCenter and attendees can ride the Skyway free of charge in to theCreator Zone. The Skyway will operate Wednesday to Friday, 6 a.m.-3a.m., Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 a.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Water Taxi

The S.S. Marine Taxi will ferry visitors across the St. Johns Riverfrom the Southbank to the Jacksonville Landing downtown. During OneSpark, the water taxi will operate on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday,11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. -11 p.m. Rates are$3 for adults, and $2 for seniors (age 60 and over) and children (ages 3-12). Trolley

The Riverside Trolley (Route TR1) stops at Hemming Plaza, theJacksonville Landing, and other event hotspots. During One Spark, theTrolley will run every twenty minutes Wednesday to Friday, 6 a.m. - 7:55p.m. and every 60 minutes on Saturday, 8 a.m.- 7:30 p.m. Regular fareis $1.50 per trip.

PARKING: In addition to the free parking lots at the PrimeOsborn III Convention Center and EverBank Field, Lot E, metered parking,paid lots and garages are all options for parking. For more informationand locations, visit
