JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrested Michael Boback, 29, and charged him with burglary.

According to police, Boback was trying to steal drugs from a city rescue ambulance. Police said two members of rescue were at St. Vincent's Medical Center when they caught Boback in the back of the ambulance with a handful of drugs and paraphernalia

When Boback was asked what he was doing in the back of the ambulance, Mr. Boback told Lt. Phllip Jordan and Firefighter Roderick Spann that he "wanted to see how it looked."

Boback then tried to push the firefighters and they noticed viles of drugs and a needle in his hand. Boback was detained by the two firemen and they called police.

Police said Boback admitted to stealing the items and said it was stupid.

Boback said he just got out of detox that day and his drug of choice is opiates. He had four different kinds of antidepressants valued at $800 and two needles in his possession, according to police.

Boback was arrested taken to the Duval County Jail. He also had a warrant out of St. Johns County according to police.
