JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ms. Wittie this a scam?

She said she got what look like checks from Sweepstakes Clearinghouse and calls them into question.

We looked up who they were. Their website says Sweeptakes Clearinghouse is "One of the largest promotional companies in America" That " Has been conducting sweepstakes, giveaways and other special promotions for more than two decades."

First Coast News did some digging and found that back in 2010, the BBB out of Central Texas gave them a "F" rating. The agency warned customers and called it comparison advertising. Meaning a $40 watch doesn't compare to a $400 watch as advertised.
