JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is in search of a suspect who robbed a Wells Fargo bank on Monday.

On Monday,February 25at 3:26pm, JSO officers were dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 3650 Philips Highway in response to a possible robbery, according to anews release by from JSO Officer Shannon Hartley.

The release states that a male, who has not yet been identified, entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. The suspect then fled by foot and was seen running through the Sinsations parking lot nearby, according to Officer Hartley.

The suspect is described as a male, between 5'4" and 5'6""tall, and between 150 and 170 pounds in weight. He was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt with blue stripes and blue jean shorts shownin banksurveillance photographs provided by the JSO.
