Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Jordan Adams scored 20 points as the UCLA Bruins routed the cross-town rival USC Trojans, 75-59, in a Pac-12 Conference matchup at the Galen Center.
Larry Drew II, Kyle Anderson and Shabazz Muhammad all tallied 11 points and David Wear had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for UCLA (20-7, 10-4 Pac-12) which has won four of its last five games.
J.T. Terrell netted 17 points, Omar Oraby added 11 off the bench and Eric Wise finished with 10 for USC (12-15, 7-7) which has lost two straight after a four-game winning streak. Dewayne Dedmon brought in a game-high 12 rebounds as well for the Trojans.
By shooting 58.6 percent from the floor, including a 6-of-11 effort from beyond the arc, UCLA went into the locker room leading 47-26. USC made good on just 33.3 percent from the floor in the first half.
Though the Bruins cooled to 33.3 percent shooting in the second half, they outscored the Trojans 12-1 from the free-throw line to coast to the win.
USC shot just 35.3 percent from the floor overall and was guilty of a game- high 17 turnovers.
