FLEMING ISLAND, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office is searching for a male and female who are suspected of stealing three pairs of Beats Solo headphones from the GameStop on County Road 220.

The theft of the headphones, which are valued at $700 all together, occurred around 4 p.m. on Jan. 29, according to a CCSO report.

The couple came into the store and manager Eric Ruffner asked them if they needed any help. They looked at the headphones, which are located at the front of the store, and left about 10 minutes later.

Ruffner told police he was not aware at first that the headphones had been stolen, as the sun coming in the front of the store makes it difficult to see.

When looking at security camera footage, Ruffner saw that the two were tampering with the security lock on the headphones. One of the subjects then cut the packaging to remove the headphones from the rack, according to the report.

Anyone with any information about these two suspects is asked to contact CCSO Det. Mike Layne at (904) 264-6512.
