GLENDALE - A man wanted for multiple warrants out of Denver was arrested after six hour standoff with Glendale police.

It started just after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday when police went to the second floor of the Crosslands Hotel off Leetsdale Drive in Glendale to arrest the wanted man.

Police say the man didn't answer the door and somehow opened a hole into the ceiling and climbed up. He hid in the attic space for hours while police and Denver SWAT surrounded the hotel.

After negotiations failed, police sent K-9s into the ceiling area where the man was hiding. He was arrested without incident shortly after.

The suspect's name has not been released.

Some rooms at the hotel were evacuated.
