PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Brianna Cox is the valedictorian ofher graduating class at Nease High School. With a 4.6 GPA Brianna Cox excels in academics, but she's also just as passionate about her extracurricular activities.

"She is so dedicated in her work. I could not be as dedicated as her in anything that I do," said fellow senior Cameron Garza.

Brianna actually created an original pantomime performance and earned a superior rating at the school's district competition and will now compete with it at the state level. She's also a member of the school's cross country and track teams.

Her favorite subjects are math and science, but Brianna's teachers and peers say she works hard and is good at pretty much everything she does.

"She's a curious learner and she wants to read beyond the margins and think outside the box," said Brianna's English teacher, Nancy Williams. "She's creative and she's brilliant and she's a great thinker, speaker and writer."

Brianna said she plans to apply all that hard work and go to school to become an orthodontist.

"Doing orthodontics I can help people, but also if I start my own practice, then I can work part time and be a stay at home mom, because I really love kids."

Brianna has been accepted to every college she's applied to so far, but she's hoping to attend Colorado University in Boulder.
