JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Emily wrote the First Coast News On Your Side team about a puppy she and her husband bought on Craigslist.

They paid $250 to a seller who claimed the dog was in good health and provided a vet signed health record for the dog.

When Emily took the dog to her own vet, Emily claims the vet said the dog did not have any of the vaccinations on the health record and the vet who signed off on it - likely bogus.

The dog is not even the same breed listed on the health record.

Emily and her husband are keeping the puppy who has since been diagnosed with parvovirus.

SOLUTION: We encouraged Emily to file a complaint with the Humane Society of the United States against the seller.
