Los Angeles police officers were called to Chris Brown's home Monday night.
They were contacted shortly before 5 p.m. Monday and told of a domesticviolence situation at the home, reports the LosAngeles Times. The caller told police he wasn't sure if his mother had beenshot, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
When officers arrived, Brown was not home. Members of his staff were there,according to police, and his parents arrived soon after police.
Brown can now be added to a list of recent "swatting" incidents, in which acaller gets officers, often including specialized SWAT teams sent to a home forno reason.
Last week, Beverly Hills police responded to a fake armed robbery call at TomCruise's house, reports AP. Other hoax calls have been made involving the homesof Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher and Miley Cyrus.
A 12-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the reports involvingBieber and Kutcher.
