PALM COAST, Fla. -- Flagler County Sheriff's Detectives need help identifying a murder victim in Palm Coast.

The body of a middle-aged man was found in a wooded area Friday on Covington Lane. The body was badly decomposed.

After conducting an autopsy Monday, the Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide.

Police are not revealing a cause of death at this time.

"We are asking anyone who may think they may know this man to give us a call. Our investigation is continuing, but we would like to be able to notify the next of kin. Someout out there is missing a loved one," said Flagler County Sheriff James Manfre.

This is the first murder in Flagler County this year.
