JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --Jaguarfans across Jacksonville arewondering what the new GM pick will mean for the team. People on the sidelines are optimistic about the choice.
"You can't pay for those seats," said Michael Patterson, a Drum Line Director for the team's band.
Getting a new General Manager for the Jaguars is personal for Patterson.
As a Drum Line Director, he's on the field during every home game, pumping up the crowd and supporting the players from the sidelines.
"You can see how hard these guys are fighting and they want it! Maybe there's just a little tweak this new GM can make to come away from the field with W's," he said.
He's hoping the GM can turn the team around, but could that also include putting Tebow in teal?
"He's going to go after the players he thinks are going to make this team as best as it can be," he said.
Patterson said the field is wide open for David Caldwell as he takes over thenew position and the D-line is ready to play to win.
"New talent, a whole new outlook on the team and how it will be built, maybe a new strategy. New is good, fresh is good, I think contrast is what we're looking for, something fresh, something better," he said.
