ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify a man who stole three computers from an Orange Park Walmart last month.
Mary Justino, Public Information Officer for the Clay County Sheriff's Office, said the man took three Galaxy Tablet computers from the Blanding Boulevard Walmart December 3.
Combined the three tablet-style computers are worth more than $1,200, Justino said. The three tablets were in a locked display case at the store, according to a report from the Sheriff's Office.
Detectives believe the man worked with a woman and left the store in a newer model Nissan Maxima or Altima with dark tinted windows.
The man who allegedly stole the computers is described as being a heavy set black male, short hair, wearing dark shorts, dark shoes and possibly a grey t-shirt, according to the report.
The woman in the newer model Nissan is described as being a heavy set black female, wearing a black shirt, grey jeans and white flip flops.
If you recognize the man in the surveillance photo or if you have any information which may be able to help detectives, you are asked to please contact the Clay County Sheriff's Office General Investigations Unit at 904-264-6512.
