Rocker Dave Navarro's getting naked again.

The Jane'sAddiction guitarist bares his tattooed bod for a new PETA ad to showthat animals are poisoned, blinded and killed every year in tests forthe cosmetics industry.

Navarro appears to be bleeding from hiseyes and has patches of bloody skin on his bare legs and torso. Hismessage: "Animal Testing Kills: Choose Cruelty-Free."

In anon-set PETA interview, Navarro explains of cosmetics testing, "They'renot taking a bunny rabbit and putting mascara on it. They're injecting achemical directly into its eye to see what kind of adverse reactionhappens to it."

He adds, "In many cases, parts of their body areripped open. They're all alive, and they're all aware. It's torture forthe animal, it's terrifying and painful and probably one of the cruelestthings done in the name of vanity."

This is Navarro's second ad campaign with PETA. He got naked for the group's "Ink, Not Mink" campaign protesting the fur industry.

Navarro is more likely to keep his clothes on for the upcoming third season of his Spike reality show, Ink Master, a tattoo competition. Navarro, who hosts the show, tells NBCLatino,"I think it's nice to be able to highlight an art form that used to befrowned upon, yet it's something that takes tremendous skill, a lot oftalent and a lot of care."
