ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The number one selling duo in music history, Daryl Hall and John Oates, will take the stage at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Friday, March 1.

Tickets for the performance go on sale Friday, Jan. 11 beginning at 10 a.m.

A release from the amphitheatre said Hall and Oates have an abundance of musical stars counted as their fans including John Mayer, Rob Thomas, Brandon Flowers of the Killers, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie and Gym Class Heroes who titled their tour the "Daryl Hall for President Tour 2007."

From the mid-70's to the mid-80's the release said the two recorded six #1 singles including Rich Girl, Kiss on My List, Private Eyes, I Can't Go For That (No Can Do), Maneater and Out of Touch.

Additionally the two scored five top 10 singles during that time: Sara Smile, One on One, You Make My Dreams, Say It Isn't So and Method of Modern Love.

The Recording Industry Association of America recognized Daryl Hall and John Oates in 1987 as the number one selling duo in music history. The release said the pair still holds this record.

Ticket prices for the March show start at $34.50 and go up to $79.50.
