JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- First Coast News has been following the Florida Department of Children and Families' Operation Santa Cause, where families with special needs open up about gifts that could help them.
The Lott family of Arlington told DCF about their need for an iPad. They said it would help them communicate with their son James, who has muscular dystrophy.
An anonymous donor made that wish come true on Friday.
The family says this gift is really a game changer and will make communication with their son so much better.
There are still other families asking for help as part of Operation Santa Cause.
If you would like to donate or can help any of these families, contact DCF at (904) 723-5448.
