PALM COAST, Fla. -- The Flagler County Sheriff's Office arrested a 20-year-old woman on seven counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she unsuccessfully tried to collect a $300 debt.
Debra Johnson, Public Information Officer for the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, said Brianna Holman of St. Augustine drove to the Palm Coast home of Jeritz Jones to collect a $300 debt.
Johnson said when Jones told Holman she didn't have the money, an argument ensued.
Holman then allegedly went to her car and came back with a large knife. Johnson said Holman allegedly threatened to stab two people. One of the home's residents armed himself with a baseball bat, Johnson said.
The man with the bat then hit the window of Holman's vehicle. Johnson said Holman got back into her vehicle, backed out of the driveway and then allegedly accelerated at two people in an attempt to hit them with her vehicle.
Holman instead lost control which caused her to hit a minivan parked in the home's driveway. Johnson said the force of the crash was so strong it pushed the minivan into the garage door, damaging the door and the house itself.
Johnson said deputies arrested Holman as she stood in the street in front of the home holding a large knife. Police booked her into the Flagler County Inmate Facility.
