CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland womancaught on camera swerving onto asidewalk in order to pass a school bus full of children stood at thesame intersection wearing a sign that reads: "Only an idiot would drivearound a school bus."
Last week, Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Pinkey S. Carr sentencedSheena Hardin, 32, after she pleaded no contest to the charges of notstopping for a school bus and reckless operation on a street or highway.
Carr ordered Hardin to stand at the intersection of E. 38th Streetand Payne AvenueTuesday and Wednesday mornings this week wearing thatsign.
The sign, according to Carr'sorders, must be written on 22 x 22white poster board with the text written in all capital letters in blackmarker.
Hardin must wear the sign from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. both days.
Cleveland Metropolitan School District bus driver Uriah Herroncaptured the video of Hardin driving on the sidewalk last September sothat she wouldn't have to stop to wait for the children in the schoolbus to load and unload.
Hardin pleaded not guilty to the charges at a court hearing in September but reversed her plea in court last Monday.
Carr also ordered Hardin to pay $250 in court costs and suspended her license for 30 days.
