JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL --- Saturday, more than 40 golfers worked on their chipping and putting at a golf clinic sponsored by Brooks Adaptive Sports at the beaches.

The organization used a specially-designed golf cart called the Solo Rider Golf Cart to teach players with disabilities how to play the game.

The golf clinic was led by PGA golf professional Dave Windsor.

The Solo Golf Cart stands players up who can't use their lower extremties and it also holds them in a golf stance.

Alice Krauss, Manager of Brooks Adaptive Sports says, the Solo Rider Golf Cart is adapted to go onto the greens and all over the course without harming it.

Krauss says they have two of the Solo Rider Golf Carts and all of the rehabiliation programs are free for anyone who has a disability.

She added you can use the Solo Rider Golf Carts free of charge.
