JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Duval County Public Schools will benefit from an exclusive ticket offer avaible to friends of the school district for the January 1, 2013, Gator Bowl.

Jill Johnson, spokesperson for Duval Schools, said for every person who purchases a $50 Gator Bowl ticket in sections 222-224, the Gator Bowl Association will donate $10. The donations will go to support physical education programs and athletics in Duval County public schools.

The $50 tickets are discounted $10 from the $60 general admission price.

Superintendent Ed Pratt-Dannals said, "We are incredibly grateful to the Gator Bowl Association for connecting with our district. This opportunity provides Duval Schools with additional funds that are needed in our proactive efforts to extend the district's athletics and physical education programs."

Rick Catlett, President of the Gator Bowl Association, said, "The Gator Bowl Association is extremely proud of its association with the Duval County school system. This expanded program is a great enhancement to the School Fundraising Program that has been in existence for over 15 years.

  • Choose the desired number of tickets.
  • Select desired delivery method.
