JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you're looking to spend a fun day with Fido and help a good cause, head to First Coast No More Homeless Pets' Dogtoberfest on Saturday.

The event will be held at Metropolitan Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Metropolitan Park. Registration starts at 10 a.m. and the fundraising trick-or-treat walk starts at 11 a.m., according to a release from FCNMHP.

The costume contest will start at 2 p.m. and will be judged for the following categories:

-Most Team Spirit
-Scariest Costume
-Funniest Costume
-Best Pair (Owner/Pet)

The winners of these four categories will compete for Best in Show. With this and other fundraisers, FCNMHP hopes to "reduce the pet overpopulation and eliminate the needless killing of dogs and cats in our community."
