JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Suns on Wednesday unveiled the new name of the playing surface at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville: Bragan Field.

The field was named in a Jacksonville City Council Ordinance for late owner Peter Bragan Sr., who died in July.

The Suns also announced Wednesday that the 2013 Southern League All-Star Game will be played on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 on Bragan Field at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Past players include Jose Canseco, Robin Ventura, Evan Longoria and Josh Johnson.

There will also be a Fan Fest located at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. After the Fan Fest, fans are invited to enjoy the 2013 Homerun Derby followed by the 2013 Southern League All-Star Game.
