JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Wednesday a Duval County jury sentenced a violent sexual predator to indefinite confinement at the Florida Civil Commitment Center in Arcadia, Florida.

William Alphonso Boston will spend an indefinite period of time at the facility, according to a news release from the state attorney's office.

Boston's sentence comes after his 2004 conviction for lewd and lascivious conduct involving an eleven-year-old girl. For the crime Boston received a sentence of four years in prison and three years of probation.

The release said Boston was sentenced in 2008 to five years in prison for attempted sexual battery. The victims in that case were five and six-year-old girls he babysat.

Experts reviewed Boston's case in 2011 and found he suffers from a personality disorder making him likely to engage in acts of sexual violence.

A jury decided to send the 28-year-old man to the commitment facility indefinitely after a civil trial regarding his release.
