Greetings fellow citizens of Duval County. Tuesday November 6, 2012 is one of the most important election days we will face in our lifetime. I like many of you, am concerned about the direction of our national, state and local governments. The courts must continue to operate because they are an essential function of our local government necessary to provide justice and a platform to ensure all citizens are heard. My name is Averrell Maynard Thompson and I want to serve you as the Duval County Clerk of the Circuit Court.
As taxpaying citizens in Duval County you deserve first class service from the Clerk of Courts. I will ensure that you receive it. It is my goal to implement customer friendly technological advances to ensure cost-effective and efficient services are provided to you, the citizens of Duval county. I will provide community outreach forums to educate you on the numerous services that the Clerk of Courts provides.
