Kaitlyn Ross joins us from her home town of Albany, New York where she reported for YNN. After narrowly escaping one of the worst winters the Northeast has ever seen, she is thrilled to be working in sunny Florida.

Kaitlyn started her journalism career in Binghamton, New York, where she helped launch the Triple Cities first 24-hour news station, YNN. She was lucky enough to move up with that station, reporting in Saratoga Springs, and then a year of very early wake-up calls as Albany's Morning Reporter. After working in a few different cities in New York, Kaitlyn went state wide in 2010 as the dedicated Political Reporter for Capital Tonight.

Working at the State Capitol, Kaitlyn learned how to work a beat and ask the tough questions. She looks forward to bringing that experience to the First Coast.

Kaitlyn is a graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School, and is still an enthusiastic fan of the Orange!
