The Wednesday before The Players began, a 'mystery entertainer' handed Lewis Turner an envelope. The man said he could pick the winner of the tournament, here's what happened: Lewis Turner

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Through the course of a week at THE PLAYERS at TPC Sawgrass, you can meet a lot of interesting people, especially on the mounds of number 17.

On Wednesday, before THE PLAYERS officially began, a "mystery entertainer" named Meraux Dantes walked up to me and said he could accurately forecast the winner of the tournament.

He handed me an envelope, told me to keep it hidden, and said the winner's name was written inside.

Now, fast forward to today, the Monday after THE PLAYERS.

We know that Martin Kaymer won by a stroke of Jim Furyk.

We also know there was a 90 minute weather delay.

Here's the video of what happened today during the opening of the envelope. The first clip is from Wednesday's 7:00 p.m. newscast setting up what happened that day, then the second clip is the unedited reveal.
